INTERN VACANCY

For our Urban Planning department, we are looking for an enthusiastic and enterprising intern.

With a team of approximately 30 employees, we work on a wide variety of projects in the fields of urban planning, architecture, and heritage. From small-scale infill sites to large transformation projects and expansion plans. In all our projects, the human scale is central; we work strongly based on the character and qualities of the local context and the landscape. Our mission is to make dignified living possible for everyone. We achieve this through socially sustainable designs that contribute to a pleasant living environment for now and the future. We are looking for an enthusiastic and enterprising intern who:

Is currently studying at a higher professional or university level with a specialization in urban planning

Can think conceptually and feels at home in small- and large-scale projects

Possibly possesses good graphic skills

Has excellent knowledge of the entire Adobe suite (knowledge of Vectorworks, Sketchup, QGIS, Lumion, and Twinmotion is a plus)

Can express themselves well in the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing

Proposes their own ideas and takes an active stance; is a communicative, initiative-taking person

Wants to delve into the realization of sustainable plans

Works in a structured and meticulous manner

At KOKON:

You will work on projects in all phases of the design process, from concept development up to and including the creation of final designs
You will be given the space to incorporate your own ideas into projects

You will receive an internship allowance and travel allowance in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement (CAO) architectural firms
