Studytrip Barcelona

With 32 of the 37 colleagues we stepped out of our work cocoon: we were in Barcelona last weekend for a study trip. Lovely weather and of course a great atmosphere! Of course we visited Casa Milà and the Sagrada Família, but especially looked closely at the city itself. How heat stress is dealt with here. How narrow streets in the old town can still function pleasantly. How to give the grid of Cerdà yet another life by forming superblocks.

The highlight was Casa Mila, which served as inspiration for our now internationally award-winning Baskenweg project. More on that later!

Or the Sagrada Familia... We can't really choose. This city is truly fascinating and overwhelming.
