Festive starting signal for construction in Weespersluis

Yesterday was a celebration in Weesp. Construction has begun on BPD-Van Erk's plans for Weespersluis. The celebration was celebrated with a fiery performance by Bouwvakker Bertje (Builder Bert) and a glass of bubbly. And it was more than deserved. We've designed beautiful homes, with a nod to Groningen architect Reitsma, who once designed a beautiful church in Weesp. Sadly, it has since burned down and been demolished.

This project has faced considerable headwinds. After a long period of procedures, objections, and delays, the moment has finally arrived: all the lights are on, and construction can truly begin.
