Three passive Water Villas

On the Goejanverwelledijk (dyke), looking out over The Netherlands lowest polder area, three water villas are realised. The inverted plan provides an ample panoramic view at dyke level. The private rooms lie encapsuled between the dyke and the reed banks along the Hollandsche IJssel river. These passive houses require hardly any fuel, and the spacious natural riverbank further strenghtens the ecological structure surrounding the city of Gouda.
