Westland Partners office building

Kokon designed the architecture as well as the interior for the new office building for the Westland Partners Notarissen & Advocaten law firm. Even though the facade is lively, is is composed of just a few different elements: 1 type of window and three types of prefabricated brick piers, of which one is overhanging.

The round bay window on the second floor is an easily recognizable element. This is the location of the multifunctional space, the core of the corporation. The office at the Galgenpad in Naaldwijk provides residence for approximately 80 employees. It has a surface area 2,300 m² and a parking lot with 80 parking spots.

The ambitious plan of building a CO₂ neutral building was realised by among others concrete core activation. Almost all of the building lacks suspended ceilings. The high spaces make the building’s spaciousness tangible.
