Maaslandse Zoom

Living in a quiet street or by a park, in a green environment where you know and greet your neighbours. Where you can walk straight into nature and play sports around the corner. Small-scale and village-like, but with all the necessary amenities and big cities nearby. That's living in the new Maaslandse Zoom development plan. Here, we are creating three subareas, each with its own atmosphere. A total of 109 single-family houses and flats in various price categories, both for sale and for rent.

Along the central green sightline, we are creating three atmospheric areas in Maaslandse Zoom, each with a well-coordinated architecture. First of all, 't Landje, the entrance to the neighbourhood. Here, the houses will have a contemporary architecture, in keeping with the landscape character. Light façades and characteristic elements such as bay windows. Next is De Slagen, which forms the link between the other two subareas. Here, the houses are surrounded by greenery. At the edge of the Food Forest, there will be De Uitkijk: flats overlooking the Maasland polder. The four- or five-storey residential buildings will have elegant roofs and gables.

By respecting the cultural-historical qualities of the landscape and the village character, the ecological values and biodiversity will also be preserved and enhanced. For example, by using natural banks along the wide watercourses in the plan. Furthermore, rainwater will be collected and reused wherever possible, sustainable materials will be used and we will apply plants to minimise surfacing and prevent heat stress. This will create a new, healthy residential area that is ready for the future. Just like the houses, of course, which will be built climate-neutral, without a gas connection.

Sales are expected to start in the second quarter of 2024.
